I have made Charleston, Illinois my home since 1994. Born in Seattle, I found my way here after a few years in both Fort Collins, Colorado and Cincinnati, Ohio. In the meantime I've nurtured three children, three dogs and one not too difficult husband while trying to feed my artistic spirit. Always involved in one form of artwork or another, I seriously concentrated on ceramics but found my way to fused glass in 2008. It suits me.
I am a 3-D person. Even when one of my glass works is totally flat, look closer, you will usually find depth in the design; a look to the other side or a hidden layer beneath the surface. I like to play with color, light and form and I can't think of a better medium to work in than glass.
